Though I tend not to believe in heroes, I’ve come to the realization that you were always mine. You had seen more than I could ever dream of. I remember stories you told me of how Great-Great-Grandpa would try to chase after planes in his very first car and how it scared the crud out of you even though the car wouldn’t go over 40mph, if that. I remember playing house and wedding when I was little and how you’d never fuss when I wanted you to be the groom. You practically raised me almost my entire life and when I moved out, I always missed waking up to your humming and “Oh my”s and “Oh dear”s no matter how much I or anyone else teased you for it. You are my idol, my guardian, my hero, my saint. I love you, Great-grandma. I always have, I always will.

Family of Blanche: my prayers and thoughts are with you all — Although I spent very little time with Blanche I felt the tenderness and love she radiated – I know she is missed terribly but know she is in a place of love and will be in your hearts always —

I would first like to say to God be the glory, I will keep you and your family in prayer Pauline. I feel as if I know your mom and knew your grandmother as much as you talked about them. I hope everything is going ok for your mother it is so hard to lose someone you love so much, but we have to remember that they are only borrowed to us for the time they are on earth.
